Bitcoin: what is the origin and future of cryptocurrency?

In October 1929, the New York Stock Exchange collapsed and plunged the US into a deep financial crisis of worldwide proportions that became known as 'The Great Depression'. In the year 1938, the greatest comic book hero, Superman, was launched as an amalgamation of everything that American society lacked after the severe recession: strength, courage and hope, plus a dash of political contestation. Bitcoin was similarly originated. The first registrations of the cryptocurrency happened in mid-2008, when a user named Satoshi Nakamoto, pseudonym used by the author or authors of the coin, published in a forum the file “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System”. In January 2009, there was the first mining record (a process that generates new bitcoins). At the time, the world was going through the biggest economic recession since the Great Depression, due to the bursting of a US housing bubble. The stock market was hit hard and again company stocks turned to dust, banks crashed and thousands lost their savings – that is, the traditional financial system collapsed.
